I started this blog from a realization that life might never get ‘easy’. Challenges exist in every direction we look, but in choosing how we react to them we find out who we are and what we need to do to grow, endure, and make the most of what life has to offer.
As a mother and a wife I have the challenges and trials one might expect from starting a family in a new city; issues with finances, with relationships, with just plain being a good parent, and also some major medical and emotional struggles not to mention countless other regular facets of life where I felt desperate or alone.
My hope is that those of you reading this and the posts on this blog will recognize that you are not alone in your struggles, however personal, and that maybe we can draw strength from the resiliency of each other going on no matter how strong the current may push. I look to share my loving support for you readers, that you may find or at least strengthen your inner warrior and endure to the end. You can do it! The hard times might not pass, but they don’t have to for you to find joy in your journey.
A little about me:
I grew up in a small Canadian town in the North where winter took over half of the year.
I have been married to my amazingly supportive husband for almost six years.
My husband and I met at a dance when we were fourteen, but never dated until we were twenty-one.
I am blessed to be a stay at home mom with my three fun-loving children.
I am very much a home body. My ideal night would be watching a romantic comedy with my hubby and munching on some snacks.
I love to read (whenever I am not taking care of my babies).
My favourite holiday is ALL of them. I love dressing up and celebrating anything.
I am my happiest surrounded by family (and I love playing games like Monopoly).
